The All India Chess Federation (AICF) is hosting the Western Asian Junior/Girls Chess Championship 2026, a premier tournament set to take place in Ahmedabad, Gujarat from 22nd to 31st October 2026.

Eligibility & Fees

Players who competed in the National Junior (Open & Girls) Chess Championships held at Jamshedpur, Jharkhand in 2025 are eligible to enter this championship. Grandmaster, Woman Grandmaster, International Master, and Woman International Master title holders are exempt from the National Championship requirement. An additional entry fee of Rs. 15,150 (Fifteen thousand one hundred and fifty only) covers registration and bank charges; accommodation must be arranged directly with the Organizing Committee at the participant’s own expense.

Registration Process

Interested competitors must complete the mandatory Google form and submit it through the provided link. Payment is processed online via the AICF portal, and all entries require approval from the federation and championship organizers. The registration window closes on 15th October 2026, after which no further entries will be accepted.
