FIDE World Amateur Chess Championships 2026: Klang, Malaysia

The tournament is open to players who secured a place among the top 50 in the final ranking of the National Amateur Chess Championships 2026 held in Hosur, Tamil Nadu.

Eligibility Criteria

Only participants who finished among the top 50 in the final ranking list of the National Amateur Chess Championships 2026 in Hosur are eligible to enter the world event. This selection ensures that the highest‑ranking Indian amateurs represent the nation at the global contest.

Registration and Fees

Competitors must complete the registration process through the official AICF portal. The fee structure includes registration, entry, accommodation, and bank charges, but does not cover personal expenses such as flights, visas, or insurance.

Important Deadlines

Additional Information

Visa invitation letters will be provided to eligible participants after receipt of the necessary documentation from the organizers.
