Nakshatra Gumadavalli, the nine-year-old Commonwealth Chess Championship 2026 winner, was felicitated by Dr. G. Parameshwara, Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister and Sports Minister of Karnataka, in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, on a recent Wednesday.

Acknowledgment of Achievement

Accompanied by KSCA President T. N. Madhukar, Nakshatra met with Dr. G. Parameshwara at the SSIT Guest House, where she was congratulated on her exceptional achievement of securing three Gold Medals. The Deputy Chief Minister assured that the Government of Karnataka would provide all necessary support for her future international participations.
