The International Chess Federation (FIDE) has published the official list of member federations eligible to vote at the 2026 FIDE Congress General Assembly. The announcement was made in accordance with the organization’s Electoral Regulations.
Voting Eligibility Documentation
As of July 28, 2026, FIDE released the Electoral Commission Report along with the complete list of member federations having the right to vote. The documentation includes the names of federation Presidents and their designated Delegates. A separate list of suspended member federations was also made available at that time.
An updated version of the voting eligibility list was published on August 27, 2026, reflecting any changes that may have occurred during the intervening period. The revised documentation includes the updated roster of voting-eligible member federations and the current list of suspended federations.
